Living in a Museum
Ever wondered how it feels to live in a mammoth palace? Built in 1928 and transformed into a heritage hotel in 1978, Narain Niwas makes a fine museum-like palace with its much-photographed Anglo-Indian exterior, and interiors with fresco-painted walls and ceilings richly decked with Raj-era chandeliers and colored-glass windows.

Impressed by the locale and the royal interiors many a Bollywood flick has been shot here including renowned director, Shyam Benegal's Karisma Kapoor starrer Zubeida.
