Hotel Sawai Madhopur LodgeAbout Sawai Madhopur Lodge  Spread over 12 acres of lush gardens, The Sawai Madhopur Lodge of Taj Hotels is a 70-year-old hunting lodge about 20-minutes drive from the famous Ranthambore National Park. Designed in a manner to reflect the rustic style, the lodge is no doubt a very good place to experience the charm of staying at an original hunting lodge used by Maharajas of the region. Accommodation All guestrooms and suites embody rustic style and comfort. The Standard and the Superior rooms of the lodge are those in which the nobles and ministers of the Maharajas used to stay. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all modern conveniences. The Junior Suites are also very spacious and part of the original 1930-1935 accommodation, used by the Maharaja of Jaipur and his personal guests. The hotel also provides Winter Tents during the months of October to March and has canopied bedroom with a permanent structured dressing room and bathroom. Each tent is secured with a lockable door. Dining For ultimate dining experience, the lodge has a Dining Room serving delectable Indian and Continental dishes as well as an open-air terrace, Neem Terrace where guests can enjoy sea breezes as well as a wide variety of refreshments. Conference and Recreation Apart from beautiful lawns where banquets and theme parties can be arranged for 50 to 250 persons, the lodge's Dining Room cam be used for meetings and conferences. Organizing a conference or party here can actually be a memorable one. The Sawai Madhopur Lodge offers guests a wide range of recreation activities like wild life slide show and nature walk.
