In the Chandrabhaga Fair, people converge by the holy river and take a dip into the river and offer prayers owing to the popular belief that their souls will be purified. Chandrabhaga Fair includes a large number of livestock like cows, horses, buffaloes, camels and bullocks brought from far off places like Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh for trade.
